Johannesburg - Award-winning Hip Hop rapper Molemo "Jub Jub" Maarohanye took to Instagram recently to vent to his former girlfriend Kelly Khumalo for depriving him access to his son.

The uyajola 9/9 TV personality posted a lengthy video on the social media platform detailing candid details surrounding his failed attempts to get access to his son and being unable to provide for him.

The rapper and the singer share a 14-year-old son, Christian, together.

"Don't lie about me and assassinate my character saying I'm a deadbeat father.

"Stop making me look like a deadbeat father. I’m alive, I’m kicking. I want my child. I’m not asking for full custody, I’m just asking to be present in my boy’s life," he said.

Jub Jub also explained how Khumalo's mother and sister had tried to intervene on his behalf but to no avail.

"You know how many times I've tried to get a hold of you. You know how many times I’ve tried to get hold of you to try and get my boy. You know how many times your sister [Zandile]Gumede and your mother have been trying to talk about me meeting the boy, to get the freedom of seeing my boy," Jub Jub said.

The post garnered support and comments from the rapper's followers and close allies including content creator Penuel, who shared his elaborate opinion on the subject.

"Thank you for sharing your story Jub Jub. There are many men going through similar situations and the courts have failed them. And the mothers and maternal families have failed them. Women...must stop holding children hostage from seeing their fathers and paternal families. Broken homes can be resolved by magistrates, clerks and cops doing the right thing and putting the child first," commented Penuel.

The Hip Hop rapper was released from prison on parole a few years ago after being sentenced for culpable homicide in a drunken drag race with his friend that fatally wounded four school children.
